A Multi-Agency SUDI prevention project for Darlington Borough Council

Eyes on the Baby was a multi-agency training and implementation programme that leveraged the multi-agency workforce to nudge, signpost, and support priority families to implement safer sleep practices. This was done by identifying relevant staff groups, upskilling them to help families implement safer sleep practices, and embedding Sudden and Unexpected Deaths in Infancy (SUDI) prevention in their everyday work.

The session was aimed at strategic leads who have a role around SUDI prevention. Participants learned more about EOTB and were equipped with the tools needed to take this work forward in local systems.
